Felix Golenko
Felix Golenko is a documentarian and Dolby Atmos sound recordist who has a deep belief in the power of storytelling as a medium for sharing impactful narratives that can shape society. His passion for non-fiction cinema began in 2013, which led him to learn filmmaking skills independently and work as a freelancer on various productions. From 2016 to 2024, he had the privilege of studying documentary film at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
From 2020, he has been specialising in creating and recording immersive documentary experiences, including ones in Dolby Atmos, and has developed a unique workflow for filming in fast-pacing environments that have never been seen before.
Felix focuses on creating intimate spaces for compelling protagonists, allowing the audience to connect deeply with their stories. He is an advocate of an empathetic approach that begins with active listening, thorough research and a philosophical exploration of humanity.
